Clarke is Home Secretary

Meet the New Boss | 15.12.2004 21:33

Blunkett's replacement.

It should have been the obvious replacement. Former child-propaganda sorry 'Secretary of State for Education and Skills',MP for Norwich South, economist Charles Clarke is to be Home Secretary.

Now lets see - we have cops in schools, ID and databases for kids on the agenda, and of course 'Citizenship classes' to which I would reply...
1./ We're still bloody subjects despite the best efforts of MAAM,Charlie Windsor and 'Phil the Greek'.
2./ For that lot of imperialist invaders to subject our kids to authoritarian & market-driven hoops such as SATs ( book sales ) and the afore-mentioned classes are a bit rich
3./ Ditto re their attacks on traveller education theough continuous assessment.

Yep Clarke is ideal for the introduction of Orwellian policies ( namely ID cards ) and to carry on Blair/Blunkett's corporate-military agenda. get em when their young....

Oh and from his biog...

"Charles Clarke gained extensive experience of local government in the London Borough of Hackney where he was chair of the housing committee and vice chair of economic development between 1980 and 1986".

Well that's reassuring isn't it.

HACKNEY CORRUPT RECOGNISED BY UK WIDE CORRUPT

15.12.2004 23:30

Hackney's corrupt Charles Clarke has finally gained recognition now that fast-track Blunkett has been given his marching orders. There could not be a finer man to take on the mantle piece of the Home Office than a man who helped launch the new Labour that exists today by working with a man who only became known for his corruption after he worked in Europe, Neil Kinnock - a thief who works for favours and favour.

What's the plan

So did Blunkett balloon out from ideas of aggrandisement and invulnerability, or was he some mind control slut programmed to self-destruct

dh

Clarke is Blunkett, with vision.

Blunkett was an embarrassment, he had to go, but Blair can lie to Parliament, the country and the world, refuse to apologise for an illegal war and remain in office.

However, Blunkett fast-tracking a visa brought the party into disrepute and all it took was one week of front page tabloid journalism by 'dark forces' to destroy him.

Clarke has MASON stamped on his forehead, next to the number 666. His only concern is that we are safe, secure and crminalised, not happy or content.

Oh Shit

>>We're still bloody subjects.

Well we're not really are we. We're citizens every bit as much as people in France are citizens (of france). OK so citizenship is arguably at least partly a myth anywhere in the world. But you wouldn't say that "they're still bloody subjects in france" so why are we subjects here?

Because the monarchy still nominally exists? Will technically yeah but they have absolutely no power at all whatsoever. When was the last time the queen told you not to do (and I'm not talking about freddy asking you to tie your mother down). Sorry that was a bit random ;-).

Now citizenship classes - well I think that's a progressive move, to be honest. OK so in practice the teachers will probably talk a lot of rubbish but it'll give kids the opportunity to discuss important issues. It's a potential opportunity to discuss things like inequality in society and things like that. I'm not overoptimistic about the kind of stuff that will go on in those lessons but I think it's a step forward (albeit a small one) rather than a step backwards.
