Yes, they'll get some other neo-fascist. And yes it's a shame he didn't get offed for all those whose passage into the country he has hindered instead of the one time he assisted someone to get here...but these are mere details, as he infamously and grotesquely said when Shipman died, let's drink to his passing.

Arrogant Shit

"Some people say I am arrogant; I am arrogant. I, am some of my colleauges, have changed the world,' bolloxes Blunkett on BBC Radio Five, after having just resigned, 'for doing nothing wrong.'

Unhinged Blunket was a couple of goose steps short of becoming a fascist, and would have if it would get the Labour Party elected. Without power the pathetic weak man will surface. He deserves no less than suffering the severest of prolonged depressions.

Meet the new boss - Charlie

How about Michael Howard... Seriously it's still got to be another authoritarian nutter.

Yes, It's Charles Clarke - the guy who abuses kids education. Let' see. They want to bring in ID. They start with kids and school police. So Clarke is the obvious ( obviously wank ) choice.

"I have always been honest about my recollection of events..."

we don't need no....

Comeuppance

If he did nothing wrong and his integrity is intact, then why the frig did he resign? Mandleson did plenty wrong and has no integrity, but he got promoted. Perhaps Blunkett will get a top executive job at Raytheon or the Carlyle Group, that's the norm. Willing servants of Satan get rewarded.

Possible connection

OK yeah it's great that Blunkett is gone (even though Charles Clarke will be just as bad if not worse), but I can't help but wonder if Blunkett's resignation has anything to do with BNP leader Nick Griffin standing in Blunkett's constitutency of Sheffield Brightside, and Griffin's arrest 24 hours earlier. A bit too much coincidence if you ask me.
