I don't see the point in complaining about the hunt as it is a great sport and people hav enjoyed it for years! Being a rider and hunter i no that we don't ride on then Hunt for the pleasure of killing foxes we do it because its a good fun ride and everyone enjoys it, especially the Boxing day when everyone can join in, all ages and i no that foxes are hardly ever killed because they are hardly ever caught as they r long gona as soon as they get a scent of the dogs!
By baning the Hunt foxes will jus be shot wich means that they are going to be wiped out completely, now you mustadmit that this is worse than hunting them n killing 1 or 2(if that) each hunt in hunting season.

Yes, it is correct, hunts rarely kill animals, apart from the conservative estimation of around 22,000 foxes, annually. Not to mention other wildlife which is terrorised in the pursuit of a normal days hunting and people's pet cats, that are sometimes savaged.

Hanna seems to be missing the point if she thinks the opposition to hunting is based on the supposed Puritanical belief that it is ENJOYMENT of animal suffering that is wrong. It makes no difference to me Hanna whether hunters take sadistic pleasure in hunting, whether they just enjoy a cracking good gallop and the kill is an unfortunate by-product, or whether they weep buckets and suffer extreme existentialist angst every time they kill a fox.

Hunting is wrong because it it causes unecessary animal suffering.

Iam a farmer with over 1000 chickens i see them as bloody pests and if hunting is band the contry side will be over run with them.
