BNP to stand in general election

The Liverpool Echo has reported the BNP are to target Liverpool's multi-cultural Riverside constituency in the general election.
Yesterday's Echo reported that the fascist BNP may stand in Liverpool Riverside.
Should the rest of the left stand down in favour of Labour? Or should they risk splitting the anti-nazi vote?
Whatever people think of Labour, the sitting Labour MP for Riverside has got a very strong record on asylumn and of fighting racism.
