Racist Manchester Police Fake More "Terror" Raids

Angry Manc | 01.12.2004 14:41 | Terror War

More so-called "terror" arrests in Manchester - will they turn out to be WRONGFUL arrests like the last time we saw these DIVERSION TACTICS in Manchester?

LAST FAKE "TERROR" ARRESTS - ALL RELEASED - NO CHARGES
LAST FAKE "TERROR" ARRESTS - ALL RELEASED - NO CHARGES

Greater Manchester Police, famous for being exposed as a racist band of thugs in a BBC documentary showing an officer wearing a white (KKK) hood and admitting to gross racism, have carried out more so-called "terror" raids in Manchester.

The last "terror" raids in which eleven people were wrongly arrested at Dolphins Takeaway on Upperbrook Street was a spectacular failure by the force. It led to "controlled" media speculation that Old Trafford and Manchester United were indended targets, because one of the INNOCENT people wrongly arrested had tickets for a football match. Of course Manchester United sent gifts and season tickets when the wrongly accused INNOCENT people were released without charge, but the damage had already been done. It seemed at the time to be a staged incident to divert attention from Blair and his war criminal friends and the media/police presence seemed to be excessive - especially when you realise that they had NO EVIDENCE and ALL THE ARRESTED WERE RELEASED WITHOUT CHARGE. It's called DIVERSION TACTICS. There was no evidence of "terrorism" - the only reason the arrests were carried out was to grab the headline and save Blair's skin again. In that case the Kurdish community was angered by the fake "terror" arrests and damage was done to police-community relations.

This time the police and the Blair cronies have targetted the Somali community in Manchester. They violated the home of a DISABLED woman and tried to evict her while they searched her house. This caused a near riot as brave Somalis tried to stop the racist Manchester Police from abusing an elderly member of their community.

"Five people were last night arrested for immigration offences after the raids in Cheetham Hill, Moss Side and Rusholme although police stressed they were not being detained in relation to terrorism."

"Greater Manchester Police, acting on information they gained following the arrest of a man, searched two properties in Great Western Street, and one in Heald Place, Rusholme. Officers confirmed the raids took place under the Terrorism Act 2000."

Which one is it?!

Will this turn out to be another example of the racist Manchester Police force using the "Terrorism" Act to gain entry and search the homes of people who have nothing to do with "terrorism"? The real terrorists are sitting in Number 10 Downing Street using OUR money to murder children in Iraq for oil and the secuirty of the zionist entity occupying Palestine.

Update 1

01.12.2004 16:08

Assistant Chief Constable Dave Whatton said today: "A man was arrested for motoring offences. As a result of routine searches an article which caused suspicion was found. This led to the start of a terrorism inquiry and we applied for search warrants at the three addresses.

"Five people were arrested on suspected immigration offences.

"Until we have completed our searches and interviewed the man who was originally stopped by police it is not possible to say whether he has been involved in terrorism or not."

Asha Awad, 65, who lives at the house on Great Western Street which was raided last night, said she had been shocked and upset.

The foster mum, originally from Somalia, said: "They were asking me about terrorism. I told them I didn't know anything. I have been here for 12 years, I was very scared."

Friend and neighbour Sylvia Ramsay, 64, said: "I cannot believe this has happened. Asha is the best neighbour we have ever had."

Update 2 - NO TERROR CHARGES (again) - WHAT A SURPRISE

08.12.2004 02:02

"... students and local residents alike have voiced concerns over police actions and community relations, especially after last year’s incident which saw sensationalised and unnecessary arrests at Victoria Park takeaway ‘Dolphins’. The arrests were carried out after finding Manchester United season tickets, fuelling speculation that the ‘terrorists’ planned to bomb the Old Trafford stadium. However days later the suspects were released without any charges relating to terrorist activity against them. A third year Politics student told Student Direct: “There is a real danger that this type of security crackdown will further alienate the Muslim community, possibly leading to more people willing to take terrorist action. Security concerns need to be balanced with concern for a community that is no greater threat to our safety than any other”."

"The suspects have been arrested under the Terrorism Act of 2000 – a far-reaching government act that has had a massive impact on civil rights in the UK. Under the terms of the Act, the police now have the power to arrest and search people without a warrant. Police can arrest anyone they ‘reasonably suspect’ to be a terrorist and detain them for 48 hours. The Act was introduced to deal with the threat of terrorism in Northern Ireland, and the Act specifically says that police have the power to stop and search anyone in Northern Ireland. It also prohibits meetings with suspected terrorists, not informing the police of suspicious activity, and even the wearing of certain types of clothes that mark you out as part of a ‘terrorist’ organisation. The Act has been criticised for its slack definition of terrorism which means it can be used to cover anyone from pressure groups to striking unions as engaging in terrorist activity."

"The 2000 Terrorism Act has been followed up by even more draconian measures with the 2001 Anti-terrorism, Crime and Security Act."
