"he was arrested in the middle of the night last year. "

Innocent people are not generally arreted! What did he do that required police action?

Guilty of what?

Cops only ever arrest the guilty

Police officers around the world are uniquely gifted. They only ever arrest guilty people. In particular, Israeli IDF and police officers only ever arrest known terrorists. And they never, ever arrest anyone simply to harass and intimidate them.

I've long thought that courts, due process of law, public defense lawyers, etc. are a waste of taxpayer money, since innocent people are not generally arrested.
