The University of Exeter is planning to close the departments of chemistry, music and italian because they apparently are not of a high standard enough to receive funding after some changes introduced to the funding system....Unfortunatly this is what happens when universities start to be run like businesses instead of like the non-profit education places they are supposed to be.....
