Isn't there a Respect/SWP rally going on at about the same time somewhere around that very same area, as well? It's one of the five Respect targeted seats for the general election, and it's a bloody poor show of the above lot to crash someone else's political party. I hope there wont be any trouble.

I might like to get involved with Tower Hamlet CND group, who have been listed as supporting the above manifestation. No doubt the group will all be out on the demo tomorrow, but alas I will be going into town for the Anarchist Book Fair on the morrow.

I Googled "Tower Hamlet CND" but it came up negative. Can you help me please with a phone number or local contact for Tower Hamlet‘s CND group.

I am amazed beyond caring that the list supporting the above demo doesn't contain at the very least an SWP branch. Are they branchless or is this another massive sectarian snub.

MI5 got involved in benefit fraud many years ago.



John Alderson, former Chief Constable of Devon and Cornwall, after he retired several years ago, had the following to say about the expansion of the Security Service's powers:

Since then many more security initiatives have been made, including the doubling of MI5's budget this year.

Local authority security is becoming ubiquitious.


It would be natural to become paranoid. Better to stay cool and not give away unnecessarily information about yourself or group if you are an activist.

Dont make it easy for the snoopie doopies. Information is power and without it the state or whoever becomes weaker. Deprive them of informatiuon and you weaken them without even having to open your mouth.
