Hunt Sabs successfully disrupt the Puckeridge Hunt until they call there private security - The Hertfordshire Police

6 North + East London Sabs successfully disrupted the meet of the Puckeridge Hunt at Aylans, Roe Green, nr Sandon, North Hertfordshire. Sabs kept the hunt on the move all day never allowing the hunt to settle down properly, and only losing sight of the hunt on a couple of occasions. The hounds got onto a scent at Shaw Green where perhaps a fox went to ground in some straw bales. Hounds were tearing into the bales but found nothing, and thankfully the terrier man couldn't find the location. SAbs coverred the area with Citronella spray to mask any fox scent, the hunt eventually moved off.
Around 2pm the cops arrived, for 6 sabs in 1 vehicle there were 3 cars and a 4 by 4, at least 8 cops, lets see how many can be spared mid week post February 18th to enforce a ban!
The cops then started to search all the male foot sabs, it went a bit like this........
three plod vehicles pulled us over and as we got
out grabbed at us and told us we were being searched. asked what they were
looking for, it was first a weapon.
sab: what kind of weapon?
plod: i don't have to say.
sab: who's been hit with a weapon then?
plod: i'm looking for chemical
sab: has someone been poisoned?
plod: criminal damage with chemicals.
sab: what been damaged?
plod: straw bales.

we were then searched, and when they opened a wallet, they were asked if
they had reason to believe a weapon or straw harming chemical could be
inside, it was " razorblades"
sab: who's been sliced then?

all this while sabs were standing there with sprays in their hands. the mind
boggles.

after firstly saying they were going to search the female sabs themselves,
the all male plod team made do with searching all the guys. there was now a
truck stuck behind the vehicles, and the hunt had packed up and some of them
were trying to go home coming from the other direction. plod let us leave
and we saw them all chatting with the hunt back at the meet.

a good day for the foxes, and the group.

Here are some photos from the day including the very big, brave, articulate PC 133 LINGER
