wildlife!!

Cheers! Break open a bottle for those that will lose their 'livelyhoods'

Well...

You realise this act is going to be damn near impossible to enforce, right? It's all very well as a symbolic gesture, but I don't think a whole lot of foxes or hares are going to be saved by it. After all, it doesn't make it illegal to ride around the countryside with a pack of dogs, so in order to prosecute they'd have to prove that something had been killed. And since the police in this country seem to have enough trouble catching regular criminals, I doubt many hunters [and indeed many foxes] are going to feel the force of this legislation.

Not that I'm cynical or anything...

Wonderful but belated news!

It my be difficult to enforce but no doubt there will be plenty of animal loving volunteers ready to tell the relevant authorities of any infringements by blood lusting criminals. It will make a pleasant change to see them banged up instead of our AR people.

They will be able to enforce it

Since the police regularly send out many vehicles, offices, mounted officers and even helicopters to harass peaceful sabs, there's no reason (except for their bias) that they won't be able to send out the same numbers to enforce the hunting ban.

I'm sure that sabs and hunt monitors will be out in force after the ban comes into place, and they'll be ready to call the police and photograph/ film hunters breaking the law so that they can be prosecuted.

So anarchists now support this 'law', passed by the bourgeois parliament, by the 'state'?
