isn't mumia outrageously homophobic? aren't we trying to rid the world of all forms of abuse? why is this consistantly overlooked by the activist community? throw away the key...

No and if so what then

Not in any of the many, many fine pieces of writing I've ever read by him he isn't.

But supposed he were? Would that in itself make him guilty of shooting a policeman? I think not at all.

I've never heard Mumia accused of homophobia before. What's your evidence?

As far as i understand Move's stance on non-heterosexuality it isn't pro-queer but certainly is no more anti than the state which bombed, shot and imprisoned MOVE people. we're not talking promoting queerbashing or anything here, or even pamphlets etc written against it. so to suggest that somebody deserves repression, oppression and the full fucking violence of the (evangelist christian and fundamnetally anti-queer) United States upon them because of not sharing all our politics with them sucks. i guess you can advocate not only the bombing of Iraq on such grounds but the oppression of all peoples because their politics aren't pure enough.

the film is really harrowing, and a really powerful portrayal of how overtly political the authorities can be in dealing with resistant and self-organising communities. and perhaps moe vitally, how consistently resisting these communities can be.

lathering up our collective forearm to fistfuck civilisation,
serendipity.

Alberta and MOVE are KILLERS!!!!

25.11.2004 02:13

Please MOVE is a fraud. They are killers. Alberta Africa is a murderer. She killed her second husband the father of her only child. The real blood relative of her son. She killed John Gilbride. Ramona,Mario,Pam,Sue,Carlos, Gary are all engaging in a cover up so Alberta can continue to physically, mentally, verbally, and sexually abuse her only child. These people are sick vicious killers with no conscious and no regard for human life. If they are such loving people then are they always so negative and hateful? They think of nothing of hurting innocent people. Don't beleive these phony frauds. Look what happens when you do, You just happened to get ambushed hours before you are to have a visit with your son.
