It is so good to see lots of creative rebellion blossoming all over the country. There is a growing groundswell of a movement that won't be controlled as the Stop the War movement is or as controlling of its followers as STW is.

Surely at a time like this we should be looking for maximum unity, celibrating the diversity of the movement we have and doing everything possible to co-ordinate our actions and work together.

This was a good piece of work and hopefully will be the first of many actions, lets not get drawn into another bickering match.

Sonic, when the STWC/SWP are ready to take action instead of just chanting for half-an-hour then going home, we'll ready to welcome them. Unity is a two-way street.

Leeds stop the war coalition was involved in a number of activities around the time of the attack on Fallujah, and not just a one hour chant, we lobbied MPS, held a meeting with an Iraqi doctor from Fallujah who spoke to an audience of over two hundred people, we held a naming the dead ceremony, had stalls in leeds and at concerts including Steve Earle's, held a meeting with military families and soldiers who now oppose the war, organised the collection of medical books for doctors in iraq. We are also organising a mass banner drop and future demos and direct actions, all these things are discussed at our weekly organising sessions, which, incidently are not SWP dominated or controlled by STWC,while no organisation is perfect or without its faults, the leeds coaliition still remains one of the biggest and dynamic anti war groups in Yorkshire and doesn't rely simply on tub thumping and banner waving.
