Solidarity Picket @ Irish Embassy, London Monday 8th between 12and 2 in support of the people jailed and bailed in Ireland on charges of trespass. Picket outside the Embassy of Ireland at Grosvenor Place ( near Hyde Park Corner ).
Three UK nationals were arrested in late April in Dublin on charges of alleged trespass before the protests against Fortress Europe repression in Dublin aroiund Mayday.
They spent a week in Mountjoy and Clover Park prisons. Dublin has a serious housing crisis and plenty of buildings lie empty while politicians ( see article on Irish Indymedia )and the friends in construction industry help to widen the poverty gap through their naked greed.(just like London!)
One has been stuck in Ireland since this time with no passport. Another was stuck in Ireland for several months until a bail hearing allowed them travel out of Ireland. Two of them are due up in court on ( this ) Wednesday 10th November in Dublin. Their bail conditions are extreme given the nature of the charges.
Show your solidarity with them and protest outside the Embassy of Ireland tomorrow in London. Picket at lunchtime between 12 and 2!
