Attend a Cabinet Picket

Information for Demonstrators attending CA Cabinet Picket. The weekly Cabinet Picket sees around 150 to 200 regular attendees and takes the message straight to the heart of government.
Families for Hunting picket opposite Downing Street when the Cabinet go in and out for the Cabinet Meeting every Thursday.
Why:
To raise the issue in front of the PM and the Cabinet
To provide your local newspapers with photos and stories
To highlight our commitment and resolve to continue this battle
To generate public sympathy and support for our cause
Where:
On Whitehall, outside Downing Street, near the Cenotaph
When:
09.00 am prompt - 12.30 pm on every Thursday until the end of this Parliamentary session
What to bring:
Hunt Banners or your own Placards
Wear ordinary clothes (check the weather forecast!) Hunt staff to wear uniform if preferred
Digital Camera (so you can take photographs to send to your local papers)
Lightweight collapsible seat for those who might like to sit down
Letter for Tony Blair (the police will only allow a small delegation to deliver them all)
A London A-Z (unless on very well organised group transport!)
Mobile phone with coach organiser's number programmed in
Urban-friendly dogs (NO other animals) with pooper scoopers, water etc.

What will be provided:
A Member of CA staff will meet you at the picket with:
Some Fight the Ban correx boards
A petition to be filled in and taken to 10 Downing Street along with your letters
Transport:
Pay and Display Coach Parking is available on Victoria Embankment.
Limited pay and display car parking in Whitehall Court and other adjacent streets.
Nearest tube station is Westminster, on the Jubilee Line, District and Circle Lines.
