Let our boys do their job

Oh, please. Do you people honestly think that the police should be able to be tried for murder, or even manslaughter, or unlawful killing, or assault, or intimidation, or drug dealing, or racism, or any of the other crimes they commit while 'protecting' us?
How could they properly do their job? They would be scared to hit teenage girls with heavy wooden sticks, to put 'resisting' prisoners in choke holds, to bind deportees with gaffer tape, or to shoot men carrying carrier bags.
When the police aren't free to kill at will, then the criminals will have won.

I remember

I remember when this first occurred. It sounded absolutely scandalous. So for it to take 4 years or so to reach this point, it must be devastating for the family. The twat who phoned the police from the pub will hopefully still feel guilty for playing a part in this mans murder. The two coppers were clearly out of control.

If cops can't be held accountable for their mistakes then why should anybody?
