A PROGRAMMER SENT 1000 APPLICATIONS - NO WORK

FINLAND - 49 year old MSc. Juha Niemelä from Turku has send almost1000 job applications during this autumn without any success.

There simply is no work to offer, he says.

According to Juha Niemelä one thousand applications is very like to some kind of a record in Finland.

Juha Niemenä has taken his degree in Philosophy and masters English, Swedish, French and Spanish languages besides Finnish.

Juha Niemelä suspects, that Finnish labor minister Tarja Filatrov among other decicion makers do not have realistic picture of the emloyment markets.
