Who's counting the dead in Fallujah? CARE?

The killing of 100,000 innocent men, women and children in Iraq to date should be enough for others who CARE. People not sure of the legality, validity and rational for their killing should understand the alleged demon Saddam Hussain wasn't worth the sacrifice of those innocent people. Does anyone CARE about this dead baby?

Fallujah?

International charity CARE Australia has made another appeal to Iraqi freedom fighters holding its director of operations in Iraq, Margaret Hassan, asking them to release her.

Allegedly freedom fighters have released another video message; in which they threaten to hand the 59-year-old over to Al Qaeda ally Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, if Britain does not leave Iraq?

So who authenticated the alleged video message George Dubya Bushite or Tony Blair? Musab al-Zarqawi is fictitious and has never been seen or heard of in Iraq. Fallujah residence say that he does not reside in their city.

Demonising is the propaganda tool of the Coalition of the Killing who now occupies Iraq and because the people in Fallujah have resisted the occupation force has to invent another reason to kill the innocent men, women and children so they can take full control of the region.

To argue that the current attack on Fallujah is somehow valid because a demon exists is in the city is illegal and an unsatisfactory and no reason to kill innocent men, women and children.

The killing of 100,000 innocent men, women and children in Iraq to date should be enough for others who CARE. People not sure of the legality, validity and rational for their killing should understand the alleged demon Saddam Hussain wasn't worth the sacrifice of those innocent people. Arab television network Al-Jazeera received the tape but off who? George Bushite, Tony Blair or the old man that lives down the lane?

Al-Jazeera says they have set a 48-hour deadline.

The video, which has not been aired in full, apparently shows the Irish-Iraqi citizen pleading for her life. Mrs Hassan is seen to faint and then have a bucket of water thrown over her.

"Mrs Hassan's colleagues are profoundly distressed by her condition and urge those holding her to release her without further harm," the CARE statement said.

But why not urge George Dubya, Tony Blair and John HoWARd to end the occupation?

Mrs Hassan, who has lived in Iraq for more than 30 years, is married to an Iraqi. "Mrs Hassan is an Iraqi citizen who has dedicated her life to helping the poorest and most disadvantaged people in Iraq," CARE's statement said.

"We are encouraged by the repeated demonstrations of support shown by the people of Iraq. "We join with them in calling for her release so she is able to return to her husband, family and friends."

Mrs Hassan was seized by unidentified kidnappers as she drove to her office in Baghdad on October 19.

Study: More than 100,000 Iraqi Civilians May Have Died in War

Dr. Gilbert Burnham of the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, a co-author of the study, says most of the casualties were women and children.

"We shouldn't really fix on the numbers," he said. "We should fix on the fact that, you know, these are civilians, predominantly women and children, that are getting caught up in an urban conflict and they're carrying the brunt of the consequences."

Message from the people of Fallujah

US war planes are launching their most powerful bombs against the civilian population, killing and wounding hundreds of innocent people. Their tanks are pounding the city with heavy artillery.

As you know, there is no military presence in the city....
