SF/Indy admits to giving posters IP addresses to police

("the cops,They now everything that goes on here, including the IPs of all the people" -Nessie, SF-INDY MEDIA)-(7-9-03)

indy-media has announced that they have been furnishing the police with IP'S OF POSTERS ! and that they have known that this sight is under active surveillance......... is this being the voice of the people?
this admission came out of the blue, we have become used to the censoring of posts, the tolerance of deception from Indy staff but we never expected this.
