40 odd British 'nationals' from our colony of Diego Garcia - Chagos archipelago/British Indian Ocean Territories - have been camping out at Gatwick airport for several weeks since some were kicked out of Sussex council BandB. On Monday they are in the high court in London, something to do with demanding the right to be sent home I think!
What can you do to help them???

UKUS COLONIALISM IS ALIVE AND WELL IN THE INDIAN OCEAN, IT WOULD APPEAR!
British territory is leased to the US by Foreign Office bureaucrats and run as the biggest military base in the world, featuring in virtually every western military conflict since the 60s. Kicking out the indigenous locals to the Mauritian slums, building great big 3000m runways (imagine what can be landed on them), cover up after cover up on paradise islands thousands of miles from notice.
WELL, your karma is catching up with you. These people, holding Brit travel documents (nationals/subjects/residents/citizens? I dont know) are coming over in well organized droves to try and stand up for their rights and for their right to return home.
COME ON TONY, SOME REFUGEES WHO ACTUALLY W A N T TO RETURN HOME!!!
I think they are in the high court to try and petition for the right to return home to Diego Garcia, which I think will be a futile attempt before bigger interests, but there are other ways we can SUPPORT THEM:
Cook them hot meals and bring them down by train.
Find ways and places to house a community of 40, westminster abbey? Foreign Office? Army Recruitment Centres? or maybe a boarded up street somewhere in North England.
AGITATE AND EDUCATE, inform others of their plight.
COME DOWN TO THE HIGH COURT TOMORROW, MONDAY, TO SHOW SOLIDARITY.
