Reading Anti-G8 public meeting this week!

Reading Anti-G8 group will host a public meeting, presented by the Dissent! roadshow group 'Trapese' at 8.00pm on Saturday 30th October at Reading International Solidarity Center.
TRAPESE' (Take Radical Action through Participatory Education & Sustainable Everything) is a popular education collective which aims to provoke debate and inspire positive social change through teach-ins and interactive workshops. This workshop is aimed at informing and mobilising around the issues behind the G8, with focus on climate change, oil and war, media literacy and civil disobedience.
Reading Anti-G8 group are a new group acting as part of the Dissent! Network and in line with the Peoples Global Action hallmarks.
If you would like to find out more about the G8, how their policies shape all our lives and the resistance to the G8 Summit 2005 please come along to the free, open public workshop at 8pm on Saturday 30th October at the Reading International Solidarity Center, 35-39 London Street, opposite the Central Club (the one with the Black History Mural) and close to the cinema end of the Oracle Shopping Centre.
