If you google a bit i think you'll find that's a fairly old diagram and not really terribly accurate. And in terms of ZMag's link with the Ford Foundation happening via the link with Noam Chomsky, well, i think that's about as serious as the Dalai Lama being funded by al-Qaeda because both are located in the north India/Pakistan/Himalayas region.

It could be true that FAIR gets some Ford Foundation funding or did in the past - but best do a bit of double checking before believing this naively.

The Ford Foundation is liberal. It also funds the peacenik groups in Israel (although maybe thats more of the anti-semitic 'International Jew' legacy than liberal-leftism).

It wouldn't suprise me if the Ford Foundation funded Zmag.

In September 2002, the Ford Foundation proposed funding for an Indymedia regional meeting. Indymedia refused.

The money was refused because many volunteers (especially some from IMC Argentina) were uncomfortable with accepting money from the Foundation, which some believe to be linked to the CIA.

Indymedia was founded in opposition to government-sponsored and corporate-sponsored media.

The people that make these allegations usually have some sort of political axe to grind. Check your facts before spreading rumours please.

The US military funded the Lab at MIT where Chomsky developed his world famous linguistics research. (Cant remember which of his books this is in). So what ....
