The victory parade is definatly a good idea because it spells out the coca-cola/pesi-cola nature of modern day politics. However it would be a mistake to imply that either bush or kerry are stupid, it takes brains to rob millions of dollars from the texas government and private shareholders. The gung ho'/hill billy style that bush has adopted (and this is the style that kerry has been copying reently) the reason why this is adopted is because it wins votes. Ordinary people are drawn towards people that sound the same as them and do the same recreational activities. I bet the working class people of ohio were slightly alienated from kerry, afterall not many people from ohio go wind surfing, i bet far more go fishing.

For the election night itself Sheffield Uni have got a late license for Bar One are showing it all on the big screen, if the result comes through in time perhaps a little late night street party to celebrate freedom and democracy. If the result is still not know after Bar one Chucks out perhaps a sound system to waiting to keep everyone motivated waiting outside would be an idea?


Similar topic, does anyone have a copy or know where i can get a copy off a CD given out at the Schenws @10 birthday party, called something like love peace fuck war. Had a lot of random shit like Bill Hicks and Black Eyed peas. Lost my copy would like another if anyone can help.
