Leeds Infosquat, will open Thursday 21st October at 6pm.
The location is:
The Old Post Office, Hyde Park Corner, Woodhouse Street. LS6. (Next to piana pizza's)

We'll be showing Terry Gilliam's 'Brazil' at 7pm, followed by a brief talk about the aims of the squat.

Friday, 22nd October - 6pm: Food, 7pm: Intro and update on new laws affecting activists and insurgents from the 'Legal Beagles' team. Followed by a discussion on the implications of these laws and possibilites...

Saturday, 23rd October - 2pm: Discussion on repression and trauma, 4pm: Leave No trace, security tips for those taking action. 6pm: Food, 7pm: Showing of 'The Conversation', 9pm: Some sort of fun maybe.

Sunday, OCtober 24th - 2pm: CCTV: what it is, how it worksm and when it doesn't, followed by a CCTV mapping expedition around Leeds City Centre. 5pm: Talk on ID Cards, 6pm: Food, 7pm: Watching mr, Watching you - Discussion on Surveilance and Popular Culture.

Bring any info on surveilance, repression, new technologies etc. And ideas for discussion.

closing times

Please can people also be aware that we actually have closing times. The venue isn't able to host sleeping residents and late nights at the same time, so we are closing the doors at 11.
