its realy good that so many ppl should be demonstrating aginst the war......
But
well this wasen't just an anti-war march, it was an the esf march. this march was for lots of things; anti-capitalism anti-globalisation and many other injustices.
As anti-war as i am i dident go to london yesterday to demo agints war I object to stw anousing an anti-war demo at the last minut. Our demo was hijaked and well how often have i heard some iritating swp member going on about how the anarchist hijaked there demo.
...those that got followed, beaten, arested, denied interpreters, contained and generally abused at Kings Cross. Those that were then harrassed by police for the rest of the day, being followed at Trafalger Sq and into the pub afterwards (much respect to the pub drinkers though, who told the cops to fuck off in no uncertain terms!) Those that were lied to by STWC stewards and not allowed to make an announcement and condemnation of this police harrasment, and were arrested for trying to do so! Those that were not allowed to call for solidarity action and therefore were almost alone in carrying out soidarity action, while '70,000' people ignored what was really happening, complaining "why do THEY have to ruin it?" !!
Syndicalist, surely you realise the only newsworthy event of the protest was what happened to us.. otherwise you're as bad as those 70,000 sheep who passively ignored the real story to listen to a bunch of soldier mums who aren't even anti-capitalists.
