About a dozen police have been reported outside Ramparts, Rampart St, E1.

About a dozen police have been reported outside Ramparts this morning (Sat 16th Oct) - two vans and one car.

According to one source, they said they were "keeping an eye on the place."

More info and developments will be posted in this thread as I receive it.

respected sources say that the police presence has been upped and now consist of four police vans. they also report that everyone coming in and out of the building are being filmed by a police video unit.

Try being nice to them... they will not expect it. Offer coffe and a biscuit and then ask them what they are looking for. Above all, do not be sarcastic.

If possible try to take some photos!

They are not your friends. They are harassing you.

Photograph them back and then ignore them.

Avoid eye contact.

Do not converse with them.

If they insist on speaking to you just reply "No comment".

Do not be intimidated by them. Assuming they even pressed the shutter and took your photograph, it is highly unlikely that your photograph will ever be used in connection with anything remotely illegal.
