Defensive
Racism, a book by Edgar J. Steele - Now
shipping! See below for
order information and a special promotional discount available to members of
this list. What some have said about Defensive Racism:

Michael C. Piper:

"...should
be read by as many Americans...as possible."

Billy
Roper:
"...everything
you need to know about the last century of world history in one chapter, 'World
War III'..."

Mark
Farrell : "If
you read just one book this year, let it be Steele's.

John Bryant:
"...a
book that 99% of the Western world needs desperately to read."

Don Harkins:
"The
fact that it is a "fun" read completely took me by surprise."
Now, back to our regular
programming...
Friday the 13th done come on
a Wednesday this month! Isn't that what one of the characters in the old
Pogo comic strip used to say when bad luck befell them there in the swamp?
And, if it's Wednesday, it must be...that's right, kids...it's time for another
episode of the John & George Show! If I could, I'd hum a couple
bars of "Send in the Clowns" for you right now.
Only in America can politics
be this...butt-ugly stupid.
Used to be, the rest of the
world thought Americans were crass, obtuse, self centered, loud and pushy.
But, America actually seemed to work in so many ways, and that is what bought us
respect, even adulation. Kind of like Marilyn Monroe, the trashy starlet
idolized by so many. Today, America is broken - horribly broken - and two
centuries of goodwill have been squandered by the past few
Administrations. Indeed, most of it was discarded by the current occupant
of the White House. Today, America has become the most hated nation on
earth, surpassing the scorn heaped upon even that little rat hole of a
country: Israel.
Not surprisingly, America no
longer is respected. It is feared, and with good reason. And we
Americans no longer receive the indulgence that American economic and military
success brought us in the past. Yes, unfortunately we still are seen as being crass,
obtuse, self centered, loud and pushy. Difference is, increasingly we are
perceived as being mean, venal and even criminal. Thanks, George.
By the time you read this,
the third and final Presidential Election debate likely will be over. I
see no need to wait and watch it to pronounce what now is apparent to all:
The John and George Show is a farce. Talk about Stupid White Men! In
one corner we have evil incarnate...Deathman, who loved to execute people
as Governor of Texas and loves it even more now that he has access to cruise
missiles. And, in the other corner is...Panderman! "I
can't tell you how much respect I have for..." is a phrase I hope never to
hear again in this lifetime. Kerry is beyond disgust for having used it
repeatedly in an obvious attempt to curry favor with those who clearly disagree
with his positions, if you can call them that. In fact, Kerry is beyond
disgust for a great many reasons, but I am so disgusted with him that I can't
bring myself to list them all just now. Besides, we haven't the time -
there are only three weeks to go until the election.
Even Michael Moore,
penultimate liberal, says: "Pick
nose! Pick butt! Pick Kerry." He calls it the "Slacker
Oath," and actually uses it in an attempt to garner votes for
Kerry!
Could this election campaign
get any more strange? Well, yes, I suppose, if Bush declares martial law
and calls it off altogether, as is rumored. Of course, I heard the same
rumor about Clinton, exactly four years ago.
I should have called this
piece, "Deathman Meets Panderman," and conjured up the cheesy image of
Godzilla and Mothra going at it, destroying Tokyo in the process. Of
course, I would have to substitute the Middle East for Tokyo, but yellow people,
brown people - what's the difference when you are the Titans of the Universe?
In fact, what do your own
people matter? Can you believe what you hear from these guys?
Both thought Iraq needed invading and both plan to keep killing Iraqi civilians
all next year! Both plan to keep building the Twin Towers - no, not the
ones taken out in New York City - the Twin Towering Deficits: fiscal
and foreign spending. Believe me, the destruction, even death,
resulting when those Twin Towers fall will far exceed what happened on
9/11. And, while neither will admit it, the draft is coming. It has
to, because Bush singlehandedly has destroyed both the National Guard and the
military reservist system. Nobody is going to hang around for either after
being shanghaied as they have been this past year. That means my son the
draftee is going to be sent to some Arab hellhole and likely come home in a body
bag.

Excuse the
interruption. I had to go take a valium and mix a drink. My shaking
hands, clenching and unclenching in uncontrollable spasms, took over the
keyboard, Ouija-like, and I ran screaming from the room in horror at what was
being spelled out.
I'm better
now...honest. Lessee, where were we when I completely lost it?
Oh, yes - the Presidential
debates. I mean, does anybody really give a rat's ass which of these two
weenies "looks more Presidential?" Debating? Hell, both
ought to be testifying...in their own defense at their respective trials
for treason.
There I go again. (Another valium...another slug of
Dewar's.)
Ahem.
Look, the Left is right,
for once. Bush is evil, stupid, self serving and a bloodthirsty
megalomaniac. We are on the path to WWIII. Indeed, I believe that
history will record that it began with 9/11. If he hasn't already
guaranteed it, another four years of George W. Bush will ensure the death of
America, both economically and militarily.
And the Right is wrong.
Not even Al Gore, in his wildest dreams, could have imagined being given the
license to spend and control that Bush has exercised. America's economic
demise now is set in stone. While Orwell is being proven right, albeit
twenty years late, neither did he accurately perceive the level to which
government actually could sink. Remember, Orwell thought he was writing a
satirical overstatement of tendencies he saw at work a little over fifty years
ago. Imagine what he would be writing today! Of course, today he
would have to be medicated even more than I require simply to be able to pound
out these little rants of mine.
Let me say
it again: We have only the illusion of elections in America these
days. That is why
the two political parties in America have become identical, so as to provide us
rubes with the illusion of throwing the rascals out come election time, yet with
the same old agenda not missing a beat. Did you really see a difference
from Bush to Clinton to Bush? They knew what NAFTA would do to America's
manufacturing base and job structure, yet both parties embraced it. We are
firmly on a path to one-world government. America writ large, but the
America now being molded without individual civil rights, not the America of the
20th Century. And it's largely kosher.
Even so, George W. Bush simply
cannot be returned to office after what he has done to America. To a jail
cell, yes, but not to the Presidency. We may get the government we
deserve, but we don't deserve that. And you know how I feel about
Kerry. There are others: Nader, for one (Independent).
Peroutka, for another (Constitutional party), my personal pick. Badnarik,
for yet another (Libertarian party).
If you don't vote, then you increase
the influence of every vote for those against you might have voted, don't
forget. Not voting is not opting out. Not voting is opting for
whoever wins, because you could have helped defeat him. If Bush wins, then those
who don't vote should be forced
to have Bush yard signs and bumper stickers. Same thing, if Kerry wins.
During the second
"debate," at one point, Bush became flustered at having run out of
drivel to spout and asked, "Is my time up yet?" obviously wishing that
it were.
Is your time up yet?
Yes, Mr. President - your time is up. Please just go away and
become a particularly bad memory.

New America. An idea whose time
has come.
