The Streetscape project brings together 6 artists who will be collecting local memories and stories over the next couple of months and using them to come up with designs for 'pavement jewels' (metal ingots which will be inlaid into the pavement), which will tell the hidden stories of the area.
We are having an event on October 24th at EOCC, 3-6pm, where you can bring your old photos, artefacts, stories etc. and meet the artists.
In the meantime if anyone has any stories, photos and so on, I would love to hear them and would be happy to explain more about the project.
It can be on ANY subject matter and as old or as recent as u like.
