Helping prepare ourselves for action at the G8 summit in Scotland, July
2005, and actions before and beyond!

You are: wanting to share your skills with others involved in activism and
campaigning, and willing to pass on your experiences.

We are: a small group of activists who have given a number and variety of
trainings over the last years.

We are aiming to provide a series of "Train the Trainer" style days for
people who want to find ways to improve how we work together as activists.
People who come on these days can then take skills back to their various
groups & communities and organise further trainings.

First training we will be running:
Introduction to Training Skills for Activists

This will cover:
* How to plan and do: a training session, short gathering, meetings,
workshops
* Practising skills and sharing experiences with other activists
* Planning how to support each other beyond this day
* Helping yourself to resources that will be provided
* Skills for working without leaders, communication within groups,
accessibility and ways to increase participation

9.30am arrival, 10.00am start-5.00pm end. Social in evening.

Food - please bring to share
Accommodation - if you need the night before or after the day please call
