No no no no...you don't want to go and see those people. Come to our autonomous/alternative/smaller places!! There, you can meet horizontals/anti-authoritarians! How dare the Livingstone/SWP/GLA/BNP alliance organise an event that will draw in 1000s!! Small is good!

Go to the real ESF

this is one thing this years esf has done brilliantly - the cultural programme - fantastic stuff, tons of events, ok been a bit difficult inside the process but people have stuck with it fighting all the way and pulled off a great cultural programme - respect.

but don't take that to mean you can't criticise the esf - its a process that's meant to involve all and hasn't.

and just for your information the autononmous spaces and other events organised alongside have always been valued by the esf over the last 2 years, even if they were critical.

this year its is a bit different cos the autonomous spaces did not ask the esf to pay for their venues etc like has happened in france or italy - so don't come criticising like that unless you have an actual point to make :-)

ps if you look at the autonomous spaces website and call you will see it clearly written that they welcome and value the energy and experiences of all those who will be attending the esf.
