Trees taken down next to two mile coppice, weymouth

Called the on-site bod at two mile coppice (next to the old teddy bear woods and pink castle protest sites) in Weymouth. 20-30 trees have been chopped down so they can lay water pipes.

Whether this work is in preparation for the mooted bypass, it is causing damage to the woodland. It is not actually in Two Mile Coppice, but for those who know the site, it is along the path by the railway bridge. The current guardian of the site say they have only just started work, and many more trees will be felled. In addition, they have closed a public right of way, apparently without permission, or notice. Locals are urged to have alook and monitor the situation.
