Rising Tide the Climate Justice Network, is having a gathering for all those who want to tackle climate change. The event will have a varied and exciting programme with theatre and cabaret to break up the more serious stuff. It is at the Sumac Centre in Nottingham from 4pm Friday 1st October to 2m Sunday 3ed October. Price £15 - £35 depending on income.

This is your chance to find out about the science, the politics and the campaigns that are happening around Climate Justice in the UK.
The event has a mixture of campaign and culture, with a cabaret on Saturday night where you are invited to perform on the theme of climate justice, from the Red Flag to Stormy Weather, bring along your party piece.
There is a varied series of workshops on the science of climate change, oil war and climate change, anti-ariport expansion, contraction and convergence, protesting against the oil industry, taking action at the G8, eco-housing, non violent direct action, the risk of species loss and climate change amongst others. The workshops use discussion, games, theatre, quizzes and other techniques to promote thought and discussion. There are opportunities to discuss your own concerns, show off any climate related work you have done, to make plans for the future and to help build a UK Climate Justice Network.
