I am forwarding my support for the people of Skwekwe'welt where they are not allowed to live on THEIR land. Delta Hotels are shamefully stealing their lands, homes and rights with the cooperation of the BC Government. STOP this aberration, stop this larcenous invasion of sacred lands... it is quite shameful and despicable to read about this from England. Stop stealing land. This is happening throughout all of Canada if not in Nova Scotia, then in Ontario where a man name Dudley George was shot and ignored at a Strathroy Hospital meanwhile his sister and brother were incarcerated. In Grassy Narrows, ON a blockade went up to protest the Clearcut of the Whiskey Jack Forest and this has been going on for at least two years... please go to this

If anyone is interested in researching and getting to know the conditions that are regularly happening in Canada with regards to the Native Peoples, one should visit a RESERVE themselves to witness the destructive nature of the CANADIAN GOVERNMENT and the ever present BIG BUSINESS bottom lines. Canada is NOT that nice to see when it is stealing land, allowing Police Officers to kill J.J. Harper in Winnipeg, Manitoba, a youth in Grassy Narrows, Ontario[they surrounded this youth and before any elder or intermediary presence was EVER called to act as a mediator] he was shot DEAD, and Dudley George was shot protesting the Ontario Government's broken promise of returning IPPERWASH back to the tribe that agreed upon. I urge visitors/travellers to research, write about stories of interest, witness destruction themselves and tell friends, family and others to avoid using the DELTA HOTELS, and other businesses that exploit, steal, kill and encroach on Native Peoples Lands.
