European Meeting on Migration in London

European groups working on migration are holding a meeting in London this weekend (September 10-12), to coordinate and discuss prior to the ESF in London.
On January 31, mobilizations took place in about 50 locations in 11 countries all over fortress Europe. Protesters followed a callout from the European Social Forum in Paris. Three aims were declared: Closure of detention centers, the regularization of all immigrants in Europe and recognition of the right of exile [report].
This weekend, September 10-12, groups working on migration are meeting in London prior to the European Social Forum for a weekend of discussion [Invitation].
The agenda is packed: In seven workshops, people will discuss detention, camps, "lager", borders, racism and antiislamism, mobilisation practices, participation of the agents themselves, migration and work, legalisation, regularisation, citizenship, deportations, and possibly (euro-)charters (?!).
