Those mighty samba soundz from Rhythms of Resistance will open proceedings at the 9/11 ECF's Visions of Another World event with their unique rallying call to action (From Doors Open @ 1pm).
CREATIVE ASSEMBLY (2pm)
The question for the assembly will be "How can we create the world that we want?"
This is an open space where people can contribute content either on the day (at 1pm)
or in advance by contacting Shane ( shane@EuropeanCreativeForum.org).

Are you involved in a group or movement that spun out of that fateful day - September 11th, 2001? Then tell us about it...

* The massive peace marches around the world were first conceived at the European Social Forum, and the power behind the organisation and promotion unified global public opinion like the world had never witnessed before.
* Peace Not War - Peace Not War CDs help fund non-violent groups working to end war and create global peace.
Produced & funded independently by a small collective of non-partisan peace activists & musicians, the CDs are SOLD BY PEACE GROUPS TO RAISE FUNDS or in record shops worldwide and on www.peace-not-war.org .
* Hundreds of other groups such have contributed towards the growing climate for peace.

SOCIAL CENTRES
The last event had a successful information display from some of London's Social Centres such as Grand Banks (The Wombles), The RampART Street Social and Creative Centre, Chalk Farm, Unity Works and 491 Gallery and we're calling on others to come on Sat 9/11 to represent, inform and join in discussions on issues surrounding occupied spaces, social centres and creative centres.

BANNER-MAKING
The banner-making workshops are growing in popularity.
Learn how to project images onto materials in order to paint slogans and complicated pictures effectively.
Among other activities, we will be making banners with the word "Peace" in 20 languages!
These include: PEACE > PACE > PAIX > PAZ > BARIS > FRIEDEN > SHALOM > SALAM > MIR > UDO > HEDDWEN
