buy some new shoes (and socks)

With the large sum of compensation money recently placed into the hands of said munter, it seems a good idea, in terms of sustainability of the movement, that simon buys some new shoes and socks. some of the locals of tufnell park have been overheard saying that the police operation to evict simons feet had come not a moment to soon and that they would have done it themselves if they had not already paid their taxes to ensure that such environmental threat were dealt with by the full force of the law.

It's the poor bastards he shared a cell with that my heart goes out to.

As a one time womble and friend of the accused, I feel it is not just my right but my duty to speak out on this matter. As it stands, the movement is becoming increasingly riven with factionalism and division around this single issue, which has arisen like a festering boil in our midst; a blight upon all we have fought for and hold dear.

How will our enemies, the established powers, take us seriously if all we can do is pinch our nostrils together and bicker in the very jaws of oppression, the lion's mouth?

I have seen the state of Essex's feet with his boots off. The black toe gunge, the sock which is more hole than sock.

I have seen the speed with which he can clear a 10 metre radius all about him in a crowded room; redolent of an S.A.S. house-clearing operation.

I know what it is to dive for cover and crouch trembling with my comrades in the shadows, behind the nearest stable piece of furniture, when he unlaces.

I can tell why it is that respirators and gas masks are an essential item of kit for any activist who has any truck with this fellow on the international scene.

Is it any wonder that many have fallen by the wayside on the long march for dignity, whilst others yet have even crossed over? As the noxious green fug puffs out of his boots at every step.

It is time, I think, to put sentimentality aside and do what all must agree needs to be done. Send the munter up the line to the front, barefoot and unbathed, that the enemy may truly feel (and smell) our wrath. FOR FREEDOM AND NOSTRIL JUSTICE!

Sock it to them

Typical. Get your facts right.
Said munter had already gone. See Camden New Journal of Squat Footwear Aug 04.
The reason 40 bailiffs built like brick shithouses ( actually with a few more in the sort of roundy pregnant looking -should do more exercise, oh and the odd boxer looking for weedy non-brew fuelled squatters ) was because said Toxic-Sock Zone (TSZ) was missing.

Local pigs overhead saying :-"Let's raid the place - I can't smell those socks now. It must be safe. We will not risk any sock related illness."

Essex wasn't there - They were able to storm the Banks, as one copper observed , - " because now it's safe - our chemical suits weren't up to the task of squatters sock aka. Kings Head Fungus type B."

Prewviously it was an Autonomous Sock Zone. (ASZ)

Meanwhile, BBC news reports claimed sightings of the squatters socks by the radical milita group... etc etc.
