Mr Lane - that well known poster in here sent the following two items to IMC people. In keeping with his idea that everything gets censored, I have slightly censored this (ie cleaned up swearwords and removed his telephone number!) Both of these can be seen on the mailing lists:

"Are you the Labour Party guy who works for Age Concern. You are a member of PnP aren't you? I don't like what you are saying and I don't agree with you. Why don't you meet with me. You know my phone number 07XXX-XXXXXX. Why don't you ring me and we can meet and discuss this. Are you afraid of me becouse I am working class? Is this why you hide in the darkness like most middle class people do. You have the power to censor working class peoples postings and no one knows who the f*ck you are. I know who you are and we will bump into each other in town, you can be sure. I think it is f*cking perverse what you are doing."

And then this to the Liverpool IMC:

"Is there someone in Liverpool censoring Indymedia? Is it you? Do you know Dazza? I ,mean I am not trying to be sarcastic. I know some of the stuff you get on Indymedia is probably a bit over the top, but don't you think you are censoring postings too much? Do you not think that there may be a possibility that if you go over the top with censoring that you will harm freedom of speech? Some of the postings that you censor probably take the people who post quite a lot of time to write only to suffer the discouragement of watching them removed. If you keep censoring the site no one will bother to put stuff on it. Surely you can see that, or is there some sort of hidden agenda?

"All the best?" Clearly just to some people! And not to those he will "bump into" in town!! Just thought it interesting to see the person behind the posts!
