If you have not already heard the progressive Chavez government has won the referendum in Venezuela with 58.26% of the vote! Coming after the US supported rightwing's coup attempt, and their later sabotage of the oil industry, this is a huge victory. It was proceeded by a massive 1-million strong pro-Chavez people power rally, and is now seeing enormous celebrations by Venezuela's poor and working classes (see the Green Left Article below).

Now it's time to join the celebrations of the oppressed, and toast the unfolding Venezuelan revolution! Book NOW for this Saturday's victory dinner with the Venezuelan Ambassador...

Good news. We have just got confirmation that the Vietnamese Consul-General (Nguyen The Phiet), and Consul (Tran Nhu Hung) will be attending the GLW/SA dinner in Granville! Some activists will have met these fascinating comrades at our Sydney central centre with the recent Vietnemese delegation
visit.

This means we will have representatives of the valiant Vietnamese peoples long struggle for liberation against US aggression and invasion, as well as representatives of the new guard struggling for liberation in Venezuela. A truly international dinner ...
