"Exxonsecrets is the first chapter of a larger Greenpeace project provide a research database of information on the corporate funded anti-environmental movement. The database compiles Exxon Foundation funding to a series of institutions who have worked to undermine solutions to global warming  and climate change in recent years.  Individuals working with these organizations and their global warming quotes and deeds are detailed.  There are downloadable source documents or links to sources are provided  throughout."

Climate change has been going on for millions of years

Climate change has been going on for millions of years. There have been several ice ages, some of which lasted hundreds of thousands of years. And in Roman times the climate of Britain was warm enough to grow grapes. Then throughout the Middle Ages the Thames in London froze over many times because it got that cold. Climate change is nothing new and unlikely to be caused by oil companies.

4 questions for amateurs like yourself and your evidently well-paid fellow 'sceptics':

1. Does the atmosphere contain carbon dioxide?
2. Does atmospheric carbon dioxide influence global temperatures?
3. Will that influence be enhanced by the addition of more carbon dioxide?
4. Have human activities led to a net emission of carbon dioxide?

The fact that there has been climate change over the entire course of the Earth's history in no way precludes the existence of anthropogenic (man-made) climate change, just like the fact people have died of natural causes throughout history preclude the existence of murder.

"throughout history preclude the existence of murder"

obviously that should read "throughout history DOES NOT preclude the existence of murder".

Ooops.
