Remembering The White Bridge Massacre and the imprisonment of Suu Kyi
The Music Industry Human Rights Association and CSW are joining with the Burmese community in a protest outside the Burmese Embassy on Friday 6th August between 1-3pm. The address of the Embassy is: 19A Charles Street, Berkeley Square, London W1X 8ER (Nearest underground station Green Park).
The "Perfect Dictatorship" - (New York Times) - The Generals, their heroin armies, metamphetamine, and murder. And Athens 2004. To where, again state-terrorism and the heroin-meth dealing military junta will send its apartheid team of Burmans to an Olympiad. And of course, not forgetting the on-going problem of a lack of meaningful Euro-sanctions.
