What is the need of posting this footage?

I appreciate that you have given a warning regarding the nature of the footage but what is the political reasoning behind pasting footage of a man being shot in the head on this site? I'll suspend judgement until perhaps a response is given but to me it's disquieting to be showing images of death unless there's a reason for it....
