Dr. Vlasak to be banned from UK - more hypocrisy from Blunkett

The home secretary announced this week he may bar an animal rights campaigner from Britain – although he allowed a violent and racist Muslim cleric to enter earlier this month.

Dr Jerry Vlasak, the advisor to anti-vivisection campaign groups who has allegedly* justified violence to save the lives of animals, plans to address a Cambridge conference in September.

On the Sunday’s Breakfast With Frost, David Blunkett said he was considering whether Vlasak’s presence “would be non-conducive to the public good” and if so would consider a ban.

His words came in stark contrast to the home office decision to allow hatemonger Yusaf al-Qaradawi to visit earlier this month, an Egyptian-born extremist who has defended the 'right' of men to beat women and has called for all homosexuals and Jews to be murdered.
