A family of nine from Eli was saved this morning from a shooting attack just north of Ofrah, in the Binyamin Council region. Palestinian terrorists opened automatic fire at a car carrying a father and his eight children. The father continued driving until he reached Ofrah, where he reported that the bullets miraculously missed them. IDF forces immediately began combing the area. Several fatal and near-fatal shooting attacks have occurred on this stretch of the Jerusalem-Tapuach highway in the past four years.

This Wednesday will mark two years since the Dickstein family was similarly attacked, south of Hevron. Rabbi and Mrs. Yosef and Chana Dickstein, as well as their 9-year-old son Shuvael, were murdered in cold blood in their car, leaving nine children orphans.

Two grenade-armed wanted terrorists were arrested at the Karni Crossing in Gaza this morning; eight others were arrested since last night in various areas in Judea and Samaria. Soldiers operating in central Gaza late this morning spotted four terrorists placing a bomb near El-Bureij. The forces directed tank fire at them, and it is believed that all four terrorists were killed.
