It is not a good idea to put empties on a public board like this. It attracts the authorities, landlords, and and quite a few other morons besides. Squatters Estate Agencies are a whole lot better. There is a reason why a lot of squatting info is not put online ( including on the ASS site ) which should be obvious;-)
Yep Indymedia is monitored. As soon as you start putting up PUBLIC lists of empties shit happens to those empties. There are lists of empties but putting them on a heavily monitored internet site is still not a good idea whether it is cops, councils or journos. Or do you do all your planning on lists or by email eh? Try Infoshop. Or set up a squatters estate agency in your local social centre. It is a lot easier to keep an eye on what is ghoing on. P.s. I an not a conspiracy theorist, neither do I live ib a fools paradise.
Certain councils e.g. Camden employ people to check out empties. I have also seen on other anti-squatting sites e.g some reactionary and solicitors and links to squat sites wherwe this could be a problem. Do we do their job for them?
Tonight and hopefully every thursday, the rampART squat cafe will open as a meeting and info point for squatters and people looking to squat. Cheap food by donation, music and perhaps some films.
This should be happening on a regular basis and provide a good way for people to find other people to squat with or share info about empties.
Next week (Thursday 22nd) a one off event is planned which aims to provide a forum for practical workshops and skill sharing for squatters, plus films about squatting, set up a squatters estate agents / notice board, and translate the squatters handbook.

Yes, thats a much better idea. Share empties and advice rather than be some sort of 'Internet estate agent':) I can see a danger in having some stuff online. This way would help get together groups of people and skill sharing.
