Any particular reason that Latuff celebrates the slaughter of innocent civilians in this case? As far as I know they were mostly atheist and Christian rather than Jewish.

Usually Latuff's cartoons are very good, and I agree with most of them.

But what purpose does this cartoon have? Although many of us support the Palestinian cause etc, like Latuff, it doesn't mean we celebrate the murder of 3,000+ people in New York. This cartoon is disgusting.

Check out the clock on the wall. It reads 7.45. Well, just prior to the highjackings, several things happened, that were indeed very relative.

Cell-phone text warnings were sent to several people. Five israelis positioned themselves on a rooftop convenient enough to film the atrocity.

George bush left his hotel to go to a primary school, in FULL knowledge that the attacks were "going down".

Of course, only the americans themselves can (judicially) investigate these events. Is there anyone left on the planet who still believes that 17 Saudis hijacked the planes? Or that it even was an airliner that hit the pentagon?

NO, it is one giant piece of "head in the sand", "not my problem" events.
But not for Latuff, he has the courage to point out that at 7.45, the event could have been avoided.

I guess there's no way of knowing whether Latuff is the actual poster or if this is someone stealing his good name. The latter would make sense as otherwise, he's been off the rails twice in a row. Oh well...

Ask yourself, if Israel had plotted, why on EARTH would they warn Jews to leave? The Jews would be incredibly shocked, and horrified, and tell their friends and colleagues to leave, and their whole cover would be blown! Or someone would look at the mobile things later, and realise these text messages, or realise that only these people had survived. And this would presumably mean that hundreds of extra people now knew of the plot. Unless of course, the Jews there had prior knowledge. And didn't care about the lives of gentiles. And were natural schemers. I.e. this theory only makes sense if you're an anti-semite.

This comic is an example of his anti-semitism. As a nazi poster further up pointed out, this 7.45 thing is referring to the anti-semitic myth/lie that Jews were warned of 9/11 (those evil Jews!!). This makes Latuff even more blatantly anti-semitic than I had previously realised.

Israel is not a "fascist military junta run by imperialist pigs". It's leaders, such as Ariel Sharon, are DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED, CHOSEN BY THE ISRAELI PEOPLE. Israel is a TINY state that for the past half a century has been trying to defend itself from anti-semitic Arab imperialist-fascists. Think about it. Israel is no-where near the side of even its smallest neighbours. It is just 8 miles wide and its most populous point (Tel Aviv). It has never conquered any one else's land. The Arabs already have 78% of historic Palestine (Jordan), and something like 22 other states. Israel took the West Bank and Gaza in 1967 as a pre-emptive strike because the Arabs were about to attack, and attacking first gave Israel the battle advantage. Israel also gained the Sinai then, WHICH WAS OVER 2 TIMES BIGGER THAN ISRAEL ITSELF, and she RETURNED IT to Egpyt for peace, even though Egypt is not at all peaceful despite the recognition of Israel's existence.

I mean you lot think Malcolm X was a great guy, even though he called for segregation and was a Jew-hater. Beside, you lot are a tiny minority far left group that have no real influence on the vast majority of people. The BNP aren't afraid of you. They only target you because you're on the other side of the political spectrum, and they hate everything about you and want to argue with/annoy you. The BNP will be using "moderate" propaganda to target ex-Labour disaffected working class voters, people who don't vote, people with anti-immigrant and asylum seeker sentiments, and so on, because these people are easier to convert, or at least to get a protest vote off. They probably also want to target right-wing middle class Tories. Other than being an object of their scorn and hatred, I doubt they waste their time bothering with you lot.

And I'm not BNP. If I had to fit into right or left, I would choose left on the vast majority of issues, even though I think most of the left are propagandistic, sloganeering idiots, who don't properly analyse issues.
