Boycott M&S!

The victory against the police harrassment seems to be complete, at least for the time being. Last night saw the lowest police presence for months, with only one officer assigned to each demonstration. last night was definitely better than last week, with more supporters coming out to protest against Marks and Spencer - Britain's biggest corporate sponsor of Israel. A lot has been in the media of late about insider dealing amongst the M&S chiefs, but the companies greatest crime is not the corruption which is prevalent amongst all the capitalist classes but its disgusting Zionist credentials.
Each week the atrocities are continuing in Palestine and we must continue with the action here to educate people about what is going on. Last night met really good support from the public, a lot of which were Arab visitors who understood the situation - both in iraq and Palestine. For the first time in ages we were able to do street theatre which got a lot of attention. Nothing like a masked Bush, Blair and Sharon standing over a Palestinian prisoner to get attention from shoppers. Great to be free from the shackles of the barriers as well which has meant a much more open demo. Good that there were only 5 Zionists again, the normal lot are off holidaying in the settlements and will no doubt be back to abuse us soon. After all this time they will neither intimidate nor stop us.
I urge all who support both the Palestinian and Iraqi people to come join us, take a stand and build these ongoing demonstrations against disgusting Marks and Spencer.
Victory to teh Intifada!
