I believe we got a very good result, that is publicity for our initiatives (those we want
to publicise thoguht he offical programme) and a space within the ESF for which "resources" will be provided. The quote on "resources" means that we can of course forget financial resources. There is a public commitment to meet withtin three week with members of the CC and "seek solutions" in the "spirit of constructuve engagement". Meaning, we have to meet before then, define a strategy, and negotiate.

Support from Europe was overwhelming, and even the SWP spoke in favour. Details on the agreement however were worked out in frenzic negotiations in corridors with us and SWP/SA and some italians trade unionists.

Much controversy in the negotiation was around the singular and plural of space: spaces vs space. We got space(s) in the title of the agreed document (we am waiting for a copy from germany), but space int he text when linked to resoruces. I think it will come up as a sort of convergent space, which we can use to link up the possible different spaces that will develop.

At the meeting with the European networks on friday there was about 60 people at least. We also had a smalle meeting on sunday in which we brainstormed on what do we want on this space.
