Welcome to the 2004 Liverpool International Street Festival.
10 July- 1 August
This year Brouhaha International presents its largest festival to date, a global celebration which defines our City as a place of diversity and imagination.
For three weeks our streets, theatres, parks and public spaces will be awash with dancers, acrobats, musicians, and stilt-walkers from Europe, Africa, the Caribbean, the Middle East, the Far East and Latin America.

This year's festival contributes significantly to Liverpool's "Faith in One City" programme by developing and delivering some of the regions most innovative cultural work.
Our annual carnival arts programme has reached many communities and groups in order to bring you the UK's largest carnival costume section with over 1000 participants.
Liverpool International Street Festival creates platforms for international performance projects, local community tours and cultural collaborations that bring people together in the celebration of our city's unique multicultural, multi-faith landscape.

Brouhaha International is one of Liverpool's most innovative international arts organisations.
We promote cultural diversity and develop creative communities through our annual programme of projects and opportunities that impact at a local, regional, national and international level.
Brouhaha International has been in existence since 1990 and this is our fifteenth street festival in Liverpool. Our main focus is the Liverpool International Street Festival, but we also have a year-round programme of Street Arts including Summer and Winter celebrations in Liverpool City Centre and the National Touring Project as well as our work during Black History Month.
We are committed to developing accessible arts activities and projects within diverse communities and organisations and so aiding in the process of local regeneration by passing on the knowledge and skills necessary to impact upon the future cultural landscape of Liverpool.
