The agenda for this year's Ideas for Freedom event, organised by the Alliance for Workers' Liberty, includes Israeli socialist David Merhav, militants from the new Iraqi trade union movement and activist Ewa Jasiewicz (recently returned from Basra), Billy Hayes from the Communication Workers' Union, a debate between the AWL, RESPECT and the Green Party, Kat Pinder from Big Brother and much more.

- Iraq: the new workers' movement and the case for solidarity. Abdullah Muhsin (IFTU) and Martin Thomas (AWL)
Tickets are available at the event, but are cheaper in advance. Two-day weekend tickets are £20 (waged)/£11 (low waged, students)/ £6 (unwaged). One day tickets are £10 (waged)/£6 (low waged, students)/ £4 (unwaged).

This year at Ideas for Freedom the political folk-singer, Robb Johnson will be performing at 7.00 on the evening of 3 July. Tickets to hear Robb can be bought separately for £3.
