25 years after its publication, Gianfranco Sanguinetti's "On Terrorism and the State" is finally available on-line
In 1979, the ex-situationist Gianfranco Sanguinetti published "On Terrorism and the State," an expose and denunciation of the Italian State's use of terrorism against its own people, which had begun in earnest in 1969.
Published in a now out-of-print English translation by Chronos Press (UK) in 1982, the "new" version has been thoroughly proofread and copy-edited, and so reads much better than the original translation. It has also been enriched by a series of reference notes.
This very important text is extremely relevant to current discussions and debates about September 11th, on-going "Global War on Terrorism," NATO's "Operation Gladio" and other subjects.
