autonomous social centre in Newcastle

An autonomous social centre and info-shop is long overdue in the North East.
Now we've got the opportunity to do one, and we hope to open it up within a few months.
It'll be in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, it'll be proper cush, and it needs you to get involved!
It'll have a cafe, a film club, political art space, a newcastle indymedia, a radical book shop and anything else you wanna put your energy into. Feck me it'll be good!!

really it is really nice to heads in newcastle on the social center vibe

really you guys shuld try using squated spaces cos unless u have rich benefactor you will b crippled by the rent, also a squatted space is what we should do as anarkists diy n all that

Public Meeting

There will be a public meeting about the social centre, introducing where we're at and providing an opportunity for people to become equal participants in it.

It will be on Monday 21st June at 7pm at the depot building in Leazes Park. Find Richardson Rd and walk from the Trent House toward the Moor, and we'll have a sign up on the railings on your left. Email  whydontyou@post.com for more directions, possible lift from the station etc..
